Cool cars for rent

Over a thousand vintage, classic and modern fun-to-drive cars were added by our members in the last year. Here are four fan favorites:

1984 Porsche 911

There’s no sound quite like the whirring six-cylinder positioned just aft of the rear axle, and there’s no shape so pure and simple than the 911. This beautiful low-mile 1984 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Targa dressed in classic silver over blue leather benefits from better performance compared to earlier models, yet still embodies that iconic sports car look.

1970 Ford Bronco

The first-generation Ford Bronco was love at first sight for drivers seeking a more comfortable, more powerful, two-door alternative to the CJ-5s and International Harvesters of the day. Before being listed on DriveShare, this particular bucking Bronco came out of a full frame-off restoration that included performance upgrades and modern amenities. Check out the fine details of the completed build

1964 Land Rover Series IIA88

The original Land Rover Series was created as a utilitarian vehicle for rebuilding and restoring normalcy to life in the post-war Britain countryside. The capable, rugged and versatile vehicles became the machine of choice for explorers traveling to remote areas. The next larger, more powerful Series II/IIA continued to build Land Rover’s impeccable off-road pedigree and still retains a legendary place in history.

1959 Volkswagen Beetle

Is it driving forward or backward? This push-pull car is made by joining two front clips of two VW Beetles, giving the car a perfectly palindrome look.

Words from the road

Renting a fun car may only last for a weekend, but the memories last a lifetime. The experiences highlighted below only scratch the surface of 2021’s most precious moments.

“Congratulations to Taylor and Kushal on their wedding. I had a great time experiencing my first Baraat! I’m so glad the they chose to use my Mustang as their ‘horse’ for Kushal’s grand entrance! I wish Taylor and Kushal happiness and joy as they start their life journey together.” – Scott P., DriveShare vehicle owner

“I really enjoyed making Bob’s 70th birthday something special. It looks like he and the family enjoyed it as well. It’s great to have something you look forward to so long come to fruition. I’m happy to have played a small part in making that happen.” – Russ R., DriveShare vehicle owner

“We booked the ‘67 Cadillac Fleetwood with chauffeur – a classic car with a classy chauffeur – for an amazing day on the Vegas strip. Jonathan was beyond delightful. He answered all my questions and made the booking process easy. He even had me send him a playlist to listen to as we cruised the strip. His knowledge of Liberace was matched only by his knowledge of Las Vegas and the strip. We enjoyed learning about old Las Vegas while sitting in some of the very spots the history unfolded. We cannot recommend this experience enough!” – Sherry T., DriveShare renter
