331 FirePower, known today as "HEMI". This engine was developed by Chrysler Co for the XP-47 fighter plane in WWII but never saw war time production, only prototype. It was a V-16 version. This '53 New Yorker has the original 331 FirePower, with 2bbl carb, 6v generator, and all!
