1958 Buick Special

Our 1958 Buick Special, affectionately known as Black Betty, is an ALL ORIGINAL vehicle from her paint to interior to her 26,000 miles!!!

This vehicle was originally purchased at Bob Eddy Buick in Toledo, Ohio, and she spent the first part of her life as a rarely driven car for an elderly lady in Michigan. By the early 1980s, the lady was gone, and Betty was being stored in the family barn where she was discovered by her second owner. This owner bought Betty from the original owners family, and in the mid-1980s, he brought her down to San Antonio, where, as a part of a large collection, the car was only pulled out about once a month for a father-daughter wash and ride. Sadly, this gentleman passed in 2010, and his daughter held on to Betty for another dozen years until passing her along to us via Gateway Classic Cars- San Antonio.

We are happy to offer Black Betty for select tours as well as for chauffeured events such as weddings and other big entrance or exit moments and for static events including use as a photography backdrop or a themed party prop.

Driver will be dressed in professional attire and will show up 30 to minutes prior to agreed time unless prior arraignments are made.

All fees are for four hours which starts from the time the driver arrives at pickup. The same amount is charged if you use 15 minutes or the full four hours. Additional time can be purchased at a rate of $100 per hour for chauffeured rentals or $75 per hour for parked events.

There is a 200 mile per day limit for chauffeured rentals, and additional mileage can be purchased for $3 per mile. Fuel and tolls are included in the rental fees.
