HOW TO SECURE A BOOKING
Sharing my car is the best! But after a few sketchy situations… IMPORTANT: When a booking request comes in, please introduce yourself and let me know your plans for the car. I can't confirm the rental until I’ve reviewed a brief introduction that explains who you are and how you plan to use the car.
OCTOBER–MAY: The car can be made available (with some planning) for photoshoots and special events. It is not available for driving rentals during the fall/winter season. The car must be taken out of storage for any rental during this time frame, which incurs a $75 fee.
PROBABLY NOT:
I’m more hesitant about out‑of‑town rentals — for example, flying in and arranging a pickup at SeaTac Airport. I also get nervous about unseasoned drivers: those who haven’t driven a clutch in a while or who aren’t familiar with a vintage driving experience.
WEDDING PREP: My preference is to spend a bit more time with the driver and/or groom before the “big day” so they feel completely comfortable behind the wheel. Weddings can be exhausting and overwhelming, and send‑offs are usually in the evening, in the dark, after a very full day. I want drivers to feel 100% familiar with the car, so the final send‑off is safe and flawless.
POLICIES
--------
NO RAIN
Not suitable for rain or bad weather. If you are rained out and can't continue at your scheduled time, I will work with you to ensure it's fair. If it is raining and you'd like to continue with the rental for an event or photoshoot, you may need to hire professional transport (average cost: $600).
STAY CLOSE
Not suitable for long‑distance road trips. Restricted to a 50‑mile radius of Lynnwood, WA.
PICK‑UP UNDER THE SUN AND CALM TRAFFIC
Rental time must begin during daylight hours. Please avoid driving this car for the first time in the dark or during rush‑hour traffic.
KNOW HOW TO SHIFT
This is a vintage car that requires current clutch experience: four gears, H‑pattern shift.
RISK
Please note the assumption of risk when driving a small vehicle without airbags or a roll bar. You must drive attentively and defensively.
If renting for a special event, such as a wedding send‑off, I encourage you to come to Lynnwood beforehand to get comfortable behind the wheel. The car is a unique drive, and wedding days are exhausting in every way. I want to offer you every option so you feel prepared, comfortable, and safe.
DRINKING OR OTHER
No driving while impaired. This car requires your full attention. You must be awake and sober, not intoxicated. If you are unable to drive the vehicle safely, please call me. I will always get the car and generally waive the pick‑up fee in this situation. Your safety comes first.
WEDDING DAYS OR OTHER EVENTS
When scheduling this car for a special event, I will ensure the vehicle is ready, available, and running perfectly. However, due to the nature of the car, unexpected maintenance issues may arise, making the vehicle unavailable (although this has not happened yet). My commitment to safety and reliability may require a cancellation. Please always have a Plan B.
It can also be helpful to register the wedding coordinator, best man, or a friend as a secondary driver for the day. This allows someone else to help move or position the car as needed.
PHOTOSHOOTS
These sessions typically last only a couple of hours. Contact me via DriveShare messaging to coordinate directly. In general, I drive the car out and stay on location.
I charge $350 for a 2-hour shoot.
If the location is outside my 4‑mile radius, there is an additional $150 for commute time and gas.
ROAD RASH
Years ago, I used this car as my daily driver. She has since undergone a restoration process, but she is not museum-quality. She’s a classic car with some squeaks, personality, and patina — meant to be driven. She has a story, as all good classics should.
My intention in sharing her is to build a community around her that gives back to the car. Earnings go directly toward maintenance and improvements. I love hearing guest suggestions and ideas for extras or upgrades. I’m excited to share her and create a collective enthusiasm around this little 356!
GET TO KNOW HER
Upon delivery or pick‑up, please allow 15 minutes to learn about the car’s operations.
LEAVE YOUR CAR IF YOU WANT
I have a large driveway at the end of a cul‑de‑sac. You are welcome to leave your car at my place.
AGE RESTRICTION
Per DriveShare rules, you must be 25 years or older to operate this car. You may be under the age limit for photoshoots or event rentals.
PICK YOUR TOP
This car can switch between a hardtop and a soft (convertible) top. Let me know your preference ahead of time. The hardtop provides more protection and is more enclosed, but it is not suitable for drivers over 6 ft.
DELIVERY FEE & GAS REIMBURSEMENT
FUEL
The car will be fueled up in Lynnwood. Fuel use is calculated from the home base in Lynnwood.
Please either return the car with a full tank of premium unleaded or reimburse me via Venmo or Zelle. When I refuel the car, I will text you the receipt for reimbursement.
DELIVERY
When I deliver the car to you, I will need transportation back home, generally via Uber. The same applies when retrieving the car. Please reimburse me for the Uber costs; I will send you the receipt via text.
Sometimes I can arrange for a friend to drive me; if so, I charge up to $75 each way to cover their gas and time (up to $150 round trip). This may be less if your location is within Lynnwood, Mukilteo, or Everett. The goal is reimbursement, not profit.
EXTRAS
If a ferry is required for the commute, please reimburse me for the fare; I will send you the receipt via text.
COMMUTE TIME
If one‑way commute time exceeds 45 minutes (1.5 hours total), please pay for that time at a rate of $18 per 15 minutes. This generally applies to trips to Bainbridge Island, Gig Harbor, Tacoma, or Auburn, or to trips during rush‑hour traffic.

A PARTNERSHIP
The car and the driver must agree on when to shift into the next gear, how closely to hug a corner, and when to relax and put the top down. In this partnership, you make one another look really good.
Being an Intermeccanica owner is part of a story of roots, passion, and innovation. When I was seven years old, I decided the Porsche 356 was made for me. In my 20s, I realized that driving a rare historical artifact daily wasn’t practical or affordable. But I respected the 356 too much to settle for an average kit car.
That’s when I met Henry Reisner of Intermeccanica — history, roots, passion, innovation, craftsmanship, and respect.
Intermeccanica builds hand‑crafted coaches that, with every sanded‑down curve, pay tribute to the 356 Roadster Convertible D. This car is solid and provides the ultimate 356 experience, with modern extras such as power windows and Bluetooth audio.
At this stage in my life, the hum of the motor and the simplicity of the machine offer a welcome respite from daily life. You may find the same Zen moment behind the wheel or add a touch of class to your special occasion with her tuxedo look. Whatever the occasion, it’s sure to be a classy yet cool partnership in an iconic sort of way.

Flexible. Let's coordinate. However, avoid rush hour/heavy traffic and nighttime driving (when driving this car for the first time). Generally, you would pick-up from my home in Lynnwood. You are welcome to leave your car in my driveway. Allow for 15 min to go over the car's operations. Flying into Pain Filed airport? That's very close to me! I'm happy to deliver the car to you there for the price of a cup of coffee! All other deliveries/pick up of the car are charged the delivery fee of $75 (each way) and an additional $1 for every mile outside of the 40 miles radius of Lynnwood. If a ferry is required, the cost of the fare/ticket needs to be considered.
