October - May - Can be made available (with some planning) for photoshoots / Special Events. Not available for Driving Rentals during Fall/Winter. The car will need to be taken out of storage for a rental during that time frame, adding a $75 fee to the rental cost.

When a booking request comes through, I look for renters who can tell me a little about their plans and why my car is a good fit for them. A dialog and connection are important to me before I toss over the keys.

What will say no to?
I'm more hesitant about out-of-town rentals. I.e. Flying in and rental arrangements at SeaTac airport. I get nervous about unseasoned drivers; drivers who haven't driven a clutch lately. drivers who are not familiar with a vintage driving experience. With weddings, my preference is to spend a bit more time before the "big" day with the driver and/or groom to really feel comfortable behind the wheel. Weddings are exhausting and a sensory overload! Send-offs are usually in the evening/dark after a very full day. I want drivers to feel 100% familiar with the car so that the final send-off is safe and flawless.

NO RAIN - Not suitable for rain/bad weather. If you are rained out and are unable to continue with your scheduled time, I will always work with you to make things fair. If it is raining and you wish to continue with the rental for an event/photo shoot, then a pro-transport may need to be hired (average $500 cost.)

STAY CLOSE - Not suitable for long-distance road trips. Restricted to a 40-mile radius of Lynnwood. If the car is needed on location; at longer distances, then depending on the location, there is an additional $1/per beyond the 40-mile max, or a pro-transport may need to be hired (average an additional $500 for pro transport). Self-driving beyond the $ 40 radius is not allowed.

PICK-UP UNDER THE SUN & CALM TRAFFIC- Rental Time must begin during daylight hours (avoid driving this car for the first time in the dark and rush hour traffic).

KNOW HOW TO SHIFT - This is a vintage car that requires current experience with a clutch. 4 gears, H-shift.

RISK - Note the assumption of risk when driving a small vehicle with no airbags/rollbar. You must use an attentive and defensive driving style. If renting for a special event, such as a wedding send-off, I encourage you to come out to Lynnwood beforehand and get comfortable behind the wheel. The car is a unique drive, and wedding days are exhausting in every way. I want to offer every option for you to feel prepared, comfortable, and safe.

DRINKING or OTHER: No driving while impaired. This car required all of your attention. You must be awake, sober - not high. If you are not able to drive the car safely. Please call me. I will always come to get the car and generally waive the pickup fee in this situation. I want you to be safe.

WEDDING DAYS OR OTHER - When scheduling this car for a Special Event, I will do everything in my power to make sure the car is ready, available, and running perfectly. However, due to the nature of the car, unexpected maintenance situations may come up - making the car unavailable (although this hasn't happened yet.) My commitment to safety and reliability may cause a cancellation. Please, always have a plan B. It's sometimes a good idea to also register the wedding coordinator, best man, friend, etc. as a secondary driver for the day. this allows for moving around of the car and coordination by another person.

ROAD RASH - Years ago, this car I used my car as a daily driver. She has since gone through a restoration process. However, it is not museum quality. It is a classic car with some squeaks, personality, and a patina... meant to be driven. She has a story, as all good classics should. My intention in sharing her is to create a community around her that gives back to the car. Earnings go directly into the car's maintenance and improvements. I love hearing guest suggestions and ideas on adding extras or changing out something. I’m excited to share and create a collective enthusiasm and partnership around this little 356!

GET TO KNOW HER - Upon delivery or pick up of the car, please allow 15 min to learn about operations.

LEAVE YOUR CAR IF YOU WANT - I have a large driveway at the end of a cul-de-sac. You are welcome to leave your car at my place.

AGE RESTRICTION - You must be 25 years or older to operate this car. You may be under the required age limit for photo shoots/event rentals.

NON-DRIVING USE - If you would like to use this car for a photo shoot only (nondriving) I am available and happy to drive the car to the shoot location(s). For shoots that take longer than 90 min, I ask that you pay for my additional time at $75/hr.

PICK YOUR TOP - Uniquely, this car can switch between hard and soft/convertible tops. Let me know what top you would like ahead of time. The hardtop provides more protection from the elements and is more enclosed - but not suitable for drivers over 6ft.

DELIVERY FEE: There is $75 delivery fee and a $75 pick fee ($150). Milleage beyond 45 miles will be an additional $1.00/mile. There is no fee if delivery/pick up is less than $5.00.

Intermeccanica is a hand-built coach that, with every sanded-down curve, pays tribute to the 356 Roadster Convertible D. This car is solid and provides the driver the ultimate 356 experience with some modern extras such as power windows and Bluetooth audio connection.

At this age-stage in my life, the hum of this motor and the simplicity of this machine, gives me a break from daily life. Maybe you will find the same Zen Moment behind the wheel or add to your special occasion with her tuxedo look.
