1963 Morgan Plus 4
Just to look at it evokes images of mid-twentieth century British sports roadsters and classic styling. The basic design of the Plus 4 was changed little since it was introduced in the thirties and even today’s examples reflect this classic styling.
Hand crafted in relatively small numbers, the Morgans are indeed unique, but also known for another unique aspect of their construction. Under the metal skin that covers the car, are many components of the sub-structure that would normally be made of metal but are fabricated from wood. A standing joke was that if you owned a Morgan, you didn’t have to be as concerned about rust as much as termites!
