The first production car produced by Porsche, the 356 is a 4-cylinder air-cooled sports coupe created from 1948 until 1965. The 356 helped establish Porsche as a serious manufacturer of performance vehicles, winning numerous races over its production run including a class win at Le Mans in 1951. Well-known owners of the 356 include Steve McQueen, James Dean, Sean Connery, Janis Joplin, Patrick Dempsey and of course Jerry Seinfeld.
This 356 is an example of the third and final production variant called the 356C. Containing all of Porsche advances from years of development, the 356C boasts factory disc brakes at all four corners, more window glass for better visibility, improved shifting mechanism, and the most powerful pushrod engine Porsche produced for the 356.
White with a red vinyl interior, the car can be configured in multiple ways, such as its current "weekend race" look or stock appearance for productions or events.
