Vehicle story

This is a 1966 Volkswagen Transporter (Kombi, Bus). It was restored inside and out back in 2022. It has a stock Volkswagen Dove Blue paint scheme with a custom interior in a GTE Plaid. It has stock suspension and wheels. It's powered by a aircooled 1641cc engine. It also has forward-opening safari style windows.

Engine

The engine is a slight increase in performance over the stock motor, but is still an aircooled 1641cc. The engine tins and fan shroud are powdercoated in a light grey.

Wheels and tires

Firestone tires with 15" wheels. Wheels and hubcaps are stock.

Brakes

Front brakes have been converted from drum to disc using CSP Enterprises. Rear brakes are stock drum.

Transmission

Manual 4 speed transmission. Transmission is the original swing axle with reduction gear boxes at each wheel.
