-UNAVAILABLE TILL September 2025-
Found abandoned in Colorado, this 1970 Charger 500 was repainted ”top banana yellow” and then transported to its new owner, John Neeley, who had it completely restored. The interior is completely restored in keeping with the car’s factory look and feel. Through the skill of expert restoration specialist John McClintik, the original engine has been rebuilt and basic features such as power disk brakes, AC, cooling system, and suspension have all been upgraded for modern-style drive quality. In addition, except for the headlights, all lighting is now LED, and power windows have been added.
With a turn of the key, this resto-mod Charger and the sound of its dual-exhaust will take you right back to the 70s and the Mopar heydays. By July 2025, a modern fuel injection system - but keeps the original, under-hood appearance - will be installed, making “Old Yeller” available for local work and transport to anywhere in the U.S.
The engine has been rebuilt, with 360 heads, and a fuel injection system.
BF Goodrich Radial T/A's on 70's classic Cragar SS rims all around - 14" frront, 15" rear.
Power disk brakes in the front, drum brakes in the rear - with a new and upgraded master cylinder to handle both.
The transmission has been rebuilt.
Prospective drivers must be willing to go on a test drive to ensure they can handle the car. Rental users must leave their vehicle (and keys) at the pickup location. The car must be picked up during daylight hours.
