Runs great. Highway driving is a blast. Driving around in this wagon gets "thumbs up" from everyone and is like riding around in a couch through a David Lynch movie. THE BEST.
Acquired in 2009 from a scrapper friend who purchased from the original owner's widow and has always been garage kept. I have put about $10k into this vehicle and love driving it around town. Renting or buying this American car is a guaranteed fun time and you will brighten the day of everyone who sees you driving around.
New or rebuilt features of the vehicle, most work was done in 2011 or 2012 with noted exceptions:
- dual exhaust
- new tires
- new radiator
- new carb
- all new hoses
- new battery (2015)
- new suspension and rear air shocks
- all new pumps
- rebuilt trans
- undercoating
- new brake system
- NO SMOKING in vehicle
- excellent interior and one recent seam split on front bench (along seam for easy repair)
- and much, much more
Needs:
- Tailgate window mechanism repair. Tailgate currently does NOT open. I have the back glass placed in and a body person needs to do final repairs to make the tailgate fully functional. I have most of the necessary interior window mechanisms needed to complete, never found the time or cash to do the repair.

Must be approved driver and liable for any damage that occurs during rental period. Car is stored in the Belmont Gardens neighborhood of Chicago. Contact for pickup arrangements.
