1973 Volkswagen Thing

It's hard not to smile when seeing this well kept 1973 Volkswagen Thing in person. As one of only 26,000 to ever be sold into the US market between the years of '73 & '74, seeing one is rare, getting to ride in or even be photographed with one, even more so.

This Thing is available for events and photoshoots. Completely customizable for your needs, it can be edited in the following ways:
Windows (on of off)
Convertible Top (on or off)
Windshield (up or down)
Rear Seats (up or down)
Doors (required to stay on for the duration of your rental)


Event & Photo Rentals

Limited to rentals in: Joshua Tree, Landers, Pioneertown, Twenty-nine Palms & Yucca Valley. (Locations outside the hi-desert are possible, but will require a transportation fee.)

Photo rental period is for 3 hours minimum.
Additional time billed at $130/hr.
Your rental period begins when the car arrives at your location.
Available between 9am - 5pm (Sunday-Friday)
(Earlier/later times can be accommodated for sunrise/sunset photoshoots.)

Rain or Snow cancels.
