Description
Meet a classic. Martha is a 1968 Mustang Fastback -- the same make, model, body type and year as the hero car in Steve McQueen's "Bullitt" and Eleanor in Nicolas Cage's "Gone in 60 Seconds."
Martha has a 302 ci V8 engine, factory four speed manual transmission, modern adjustable electric power steering, factory power brakes, modern three point seat belts and a completely restored interior (including hidden modern Bluetooth radio.) Painted in factory correct Diamond Blue (slightly paler than baby blue), she drives with both muscle and style.
Martha has been in my family for 50 years so I will not rent her to just anyone. But she is an absolute joy to drive and photograph -- an experience you will always remember.
IMPORTANT: If you plan to reserve Martha, please follow up immediately with a message to me letting me know if you are planning on driving her, needing me to drive her for you (e.g., for a shoot) or keeping her parked for the entire rental? Martha has a manual transmission so if you want to drive her for any reason you must know how to drive a stick. I will not rent her to you unless I am sure you know what you are doing. If you don't, I suggest you look for another car. The transmission on this car is durable but it doesn't react well to someone who does not know how to drive a manual transmission car. Thanks for your understanding.
Also available for $165 per hour. Garaged in Santa Monica.
