The F-Type 400 Sport’s defining feature is a 400-hp supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine. Like nearly the entire F-type lineup, the 400 Sport uses a sharp-witted eight-speed automatic transmission. Manual gear selection is possible via the shift lever or a pair of steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles and produces satisfyingly quick responses.

Why the V-6 400 over the V-8 550? Simply put... weight. This is F-Type's loftiest & most nimble model. It's the pinnacle combination of speed-to-control for the F-Type.

The drivetrain masterfully coordinates the transfer of power to the tarmac; the F-Type 400 launches itself with poise but with a surprising amount of wheel-spin. It’s definitely more playful around corners than it's AWD siblings & even the Porsche 911... a bold statement, indeed.

The interior keeps up with the glamor and uses a clever mix of leather and chrome. It’s all top-grade stuff in here with an obvious fighter jet cockpit inspiration: toggle switches are abundant, not to mention the arcade-like joystick gear shifter. The center handle that encompasses the right side of the console also acts like a divider so the passenger can’t access your radio stations - and also becomes a handy oh sh** handle when the road gets snaky.

Meridian sound system, navigation, Xenon+LED headlamps, adaptive/intelligent front lighting, blind spot monitor, parking sensors, and backup camera. Not missing a single option. And after all this, a power convertible for a top-off (pun intended).
