This was a fantastic first experience with DriveShare and it worked out REALLY well. Your first Driveshare process is a little more complex than going with a conventional rental. Hagerty does check your driving record and background, so budget an extra couple of days for that. Aside from that, it's an easy process. As for Zafera and her Wagoneer, the are both 100% awesome. She was super friendly and easy to work with. She went out of her way to accommodate us at pick-up and drop-off. She's enthusiastic about her classic, and it was spotless when we got it. She's great and I would rent from her again in a heartbeat. The Jeep itself is pretty cool. It's really nicely preserved and well done all-around. The LS swap provides easy, no-drama operation and nice power. It's a no-excuses swap, and everything works as it should. Oh, and the AC blows Arctic-cold. Power everything works. Tires are decent, and it tracks nicely despite old-school steering feel. And by the way, the thing is TOTALLY COOL. These Wagoneers are getting pretty hot in the market now, and I can see why. The birth of the Luxury SUV. I'm a sport car guy at heart, but for a family vacation this was the perfect alternative to the traditional (boring) airport rental!
