A few years ago, my life changed in an instant when my husband died suddenly. I was left to rebuild a life I never expected to be rebuilding—raising my children, finding my footing again, and learning how to create new memories while carrying the old ones with me.
Part of that rebuilding has been saying yes to adventure. My kids and I have traveled, explored new places, taken road trips, and learned that sometimes healing looks like getting in the car and seeing where the road takes you.
I originally bought this car for my teenager. It felt like another milestone for our family and a way to give her a little more independence. Then, in true teenager fashion, life had other plans—she ended up getting a car for her birthday. Suddenly, I had a perfectly good vehicle that we no longer needed in the way I had originally intended.
That’s what brought me to DriveShare.
Rather than letting the car sit, I love the idea of allowing it to become part of someone else’s adventure while also helping support the life I’ve worked so hard to rebuild. After losing my husband, I’ve learned that things rarely go according to plan—but sometimes the unexpected detours turn into something even better.
For me, this car represents more than transportation. It’s part of a story about starting over, raising kids, adapting when plans change, and continuing to move forward.
So whether you’re using it for a trip, a special occasion, or simply your own little adventure, I hope it helps you make some great memories along the way. ❤️
