For many years, I told my husband, Matt, that I wanted a cute little truck like the kind on Hallmark movies.  In 2025, Olive, our GMC, was listed for sale in Reno and we both knew she was "the one".  Matt and our son, rented a trailer and went up to Reno to bring her home.  We had Olive for a week and a friend of mine, whose husband was filming a Christmas movie that he wrote, asked if our daughter wanted to be in the movie.  Jokingly, I asked her if they needed a cute old truck and explained Olive's look.  Her husband was so excited because Olive was just the look he was going for and came over within the hour to pick her up for filming!  So, our daughter, Olive and myself were in the movie!  It is out this year streaming on Roku and Tubi called "My Christmas Storybook With You".  What a dream...not only did I get a "Hallmark" truck, but also got to be in a "Hallmark" style movie with our truck!  This experience gave me the confidence to look into another project I had filed away as a dream, our firepit truck, Ginger.  I asked Matt what he thought and he agreed, cautiously, and we purchased Ginger in Turlock in July of 2025.  At the time she was a cute little farm truck used for parades and farm work in her early life.  We got to work transforming her after hours from our day jobs.  After about a year of hard work, almost entirely by Matt, Ginger was ready to present to the public as a unique fire pit rental and a whole lot of classic car nostalgia.
