This beautiful 1946 Chevy 2-ton truck is a great representation of an all-original farm/ranch truck. Found in a barn in Oklahoma, this truck originally towed a double axle trailer behind it hauling hay across the great plains of Oklahoma and Texas to many cattle ranches.
Starting up front, the truck still carries the original chrome grill from 1946, the paint is original and has been painstakingly brought back to its original luster of 1946. Under the hood sits the original 235 straight 6-engine. The interior is all original, with the exception of the seat, which has been reupholstered with period correct leather, the steering column still has the original hand operated vacuum assisted air brake controller. The bed of the truck still has its original rounded steel bed corners with all the original hand sawn redwood stake sides. The truck still has its original drive line with the 2-speed rear end and original 8 lug steel wheels with period correct tires.
