Two Tone 1953 R-Type Standard Steel Saloon. Built to completion at the Crewe facility in England and completed and sold in 1953.
No track of ownership until mid 1990's when it was put into storage by prior owner, a private car collector, in Southern California, until purchased by me in March 2018. The exterior was in good condition, but the mechanical and interior fabrics were all in very bad condition. Mechanics repaired immediately, followed by an entire refurbishment of the interior and trunk fabrics, including seats, liner, side panels and carpeting. Completed in April 2021. Has that new car smell, now as well as an updated radio, which has a UBS port for charging and a station to accommodate an auxiliary source, like a cell phone or laptop.
This is not as roomy as the Rolls-Royce that I also have listed on DriveShare, but is sportier looking and faster moving. It has a sun roof and a classic look to it.
