Vehicle story

(Note: This vehicle is currently undergoing a full restoration. It will be available again in 2024.) With only two owners ever registered, this is a rare VW camper with many stories to tell. Eye-catching and iconic, it is a great representative of the era when its first owners bought it in West Germany, toured Europe and then shipped it back to the United States to use for more adventures and daily driving on this continent. It is popular and flexible for film shoots and events. It has been used as a mobile popup marketing tool on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago and for many professional photography shoots. Currently, it is a running and driving shell, without the camper interior. But it could be staged for the camping appearance for the right production.
