Dubbed "Poppy" upon her relocation to California, this restored FJ43 combines vintage character with updated performance. She is powered by a fuel-injected Sniper II EFI system and equipped with an automatic transmission, making it easy and dependable to drive. Recent work includes a new engine install in 2022, heated front seats, touchscreen stereo with front and rear speakers, 15" Pro Comp Wheels, new starter and manifold seals, re-painted bonnet, the addition of 6 rear lap belts, an external bottle opener (for responsible picnics) and general maintenance.
The truck’s beige finish, brown leather interior, chrome accents and wood steering wheel highlight her craftsmanship. Inward-facing rear benches comfortably fit 2–4 adults (or up to 6 rear passengers total). The canvas top is removable on request for scenic, open-air routes or photo shoots.
Available for chauffeured experiences, film and photo projects, or private drives in Marin, Berkeley, and the surrounding SF Bay Area.
