-Classic VW sound. Max power original engine and exhaust, comfortable at highway speeds of 65mph (flat), and can get over Like-Like, and Pali just fine.
-Non-power steering.
-Cargo Space (approximate): basic=6 regular suitcases; with rear seat folded=10.
-Power remote locks on driver and passenger front doors.
-Original style interior, brown and black; two bench seats in rear; center one can be removed for disabled person access or gear additions; rear bench folds forward for additional cargo capacity or turn into a small rest/daybed area.
-Modern radio system with bluetooth connection, cd, aux, usb charging port, upgraded speakers.
-3x 12v ports for accessories, 1x always powered for cooler, etc.
-3x 5v USB charging ports
-Non-functional A/C (doesn't blow cold air) that has working fans to help keep cool during slow traffic-jams.
-Dashcam (front and rear views) for safety and security.

This was my first time renting with DriveShare and I definitely recommend it! We rented Luc's VW for a weekend staycation and it was so much fun to cruise around in with friends. Luc was very responsive and easygoing. He has put in some amazing upgrades into the van. The backup camera was so helpful since I was not used to driving such a long vehicle. If you love driving manual and want to try something new, rent this VW!!
