This 1983 Jeep CJ-5 is quintessential "Jeep" - perfect for all of the unique vistas Southern California has to offer. 1983 was the last production year of the CJ-5 making this one of the rarest Jeeps in the United States (1 of about 3,000, with only a few in pristine, original condition and unadulterated by car part store add-ons and obnoxious lift kits).
This CJ-5 recently underwent a major service at the Jeep Farm in Phoenix, AZ in late 2024 where it was converted to EFI, all new body mounts installed, new fuel tank, fluids changed, boiled radiator, steering box rebuild, new tie rod ends, etc. These "resto-mods" are all under the hood therefore this Jeep is period correct from the outside but upgraded for comfort and reliability to drive amongst the modern cars of today.
Power is produced by a 4.2L inline 6 cylinder engine which is sent to the rear wheels via 4 speed manual gear box and dual range transfer case with manual locking front hubs. The sherwood green metallic paint is ORIGINAL along with the low back, black vinyl bucket seats and rear bench. This Jeep can be displayed with no top, no doors, half doors, bikini top, full top and full doors or any combination of your choosing.
Broncos, Blazers and VW buses have had their time in the spot light - hire this CJ-5 for your next photoshoot, wedding or static display to truly standout and make a statement.
