Launched in 1963, the Jeep Wagoneer was decades ahead of its time — combining rugged 4x4 capability with upscale comfort in a way no other vehicle did. Built on a body-on-frame platform with solid axles and optional V8 power, it was the first true luxury SUV, long before the term existed. Over its three-decade run, the Wagoneer evolved from a utilitarian off-roader into a status symbol, especially in its iconic Grand Wagoneer form. This particular Wagoneer has been modified with a 401ci V8, rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission, and dual-range transfer case. It was repainted red metallic over Almond leather and cloth upholstery and features a Trac-Lok rear differential, a Rough Country suspension lift, sniper EFI, and custom "retro" wheels. Ruggedly handsome, it's tough enough for the trail and classy enough for the country club.
