1989 Nissan Sentra base model in good running survivor-like condition.
I purchased this vehicle as a running driving project car when I was 23 years old in 2021.
It is currently undergoing a long term full restoration by me to the mechanical, interior, and exterior paint/bodywork.
It has been regularly driven and maintained as a backup daily use car to commute to work, school, and running errands.
The car was manufactured in Japan in October 1988 and imported into the North American market.
Comes equipped with a 90 HP Nissan GA16i 4 cylinder engine mated to a Nissan 4 speed manual transmission.
***Please note this car is only for skilled drivers who know how to operate a manual transmission!***
It is currently a running and drivable vehicle. The only few things that don't work are mainly the air conditioning and missing rear speakers. Paint is a little faded on parts of the roof and trunk from a thin clear coat, working on getting the car repainted soon within the next 3 years.
It has been featured on YouTube a few times from automotive journalists and car reviewers. (Hello Road, Shooting Cars, Tyson Hugie, etc.)
Willing to rent my car out only to movie production companies to be used as a background prop car. I prefer to be driving the vehicle, but I can also teach actors to drive it if they are skilled enough. Schedule wise, I am not available after 4 pm Tuesdays to Saturdays because of work. I can remove the extra fog lights mounted on the front bumper for a cleaner look.

Engine
Engine was replaced in 2021 with a factory spec Nissan GA16i engine, purchased from a engine warehouse imported from Japan.
Wheels and tires
upgraded rare Nissan 14 inch Sentra SE 10 multi-slotted alloy wheels + 185/65R14 tires
Brakes
Factory spec stock front disc and rear drum brakes. Front disc brake calipers were replaced in April 2024 using remanufactured parts. Use the parking brake to park the vehicle since it's a manual transmission. Front and rear suspension + steering components were also overhauled in April-May 2024 with new struts reusing the original springs, control arms/ball joints, and new inner/outer tie rods.

Nissan RN4F30 series 4 speed manual transmission, manual clutch cable operated transmission.

You can't leave your car parked here as this is my neighborhood residential street and local city parking enforcement will come hand out citations. This car is only for skilled drivers who understand how to operate a manual transmission. I need advance notice if there is a request for a test drive. I am not available after 4pm tuesdays -saturdays because of work.
