A rare piece of Japanese automotive history. This is a 1992 Autozam AZ-1 a sports car which was manufactured by Mazda from October 1992 to October 1994 and sold under its Autozam brand. The car is 軽自動車 (kei-jidōsha) or Kei-car for shot, a Japanese category of microcars, vans, and trucks built to strict size and engine limits (currently 660cc, under ~11.3 ft long/4.9 ft wide) that offer low ownership costs, great fuel efficiency, and ease of parking, making them popular for urban driving and even farming in some regions.
