This rare 1998 Toyota Bandeirante BJ55 is a left-hand-drive, double-cab pickup that underwent a full refurbishment in Brazil and was imported to the US. It is estimated there are fewer than 50 BJ55's in the US today. Power is provided by a 3.7-liter diesel inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The body was refinished in blue and fitted with a snorkel, side steps, and a bed-mounted roll bar, while the cabin was re-trimmed in beige upholstery. Equipment includes 16″ Ion wheels, AVM locking front hubs, a Bremen winch, replacement seating, air conditioning, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
Matte black 16″ Ion wheels are mounted with 305/70 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, and a spare is stored in the bed
The truck is equipped with AVM manually locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums.
