The Plymouth Prowler was a concept car come to fruition and was produced from 1998 to 2002. It was designed to mimic retro 1930s-era hot rods and was the company's follow-up to the groundbreaking Dodge Viper. Among many unique features are the Indy-style open-wheeled front end.
The Prowler is powered by a 3.5L Pentastar V6 producing 214 HP and 253 LB-FT mated to a four speed Autostick automatic transmission. The Prowler sports a near 50-50 weight distribution, giving it a go-kart like agility further assisted by its light curb weight of 2,800 lbs, allowing for brisk acceleration of 5.9s 0-60. The body is aluminum and each Prowler was hand-built.
