Story
I've always been a car guy ever since I started helping my father work on his cars at the age of about 8. While volunteering at the San Diego auto museum in the early 90s I saw my first Boattail Speedster. It was love at first sight. It took 30 years till I had enough time, space and money to get my own. Of course it's a replica since real ones are 7 figure cars. It took 2 years of looking before I found one in my price range. It was in a private collection for 20 years before I acquired it. The car very quickly earned her name "Pandora" because every time I opened up something I found a problem. After many months of mechanical repairs and upgrades she was safe and drivable again. She will be ongoing project as I have several years of upgrades planned still. She brings me joy to own and drive and through DriveShare I am pleased to be able to share her with others.
