This very original unmodified historic, classic quintessential French Art Deco, romantic Traction Avant spent its early years as a photographers wedding car in Alsace and Belgium. It has lived in Phoenix, Arizona with me for the past several decades where it continues to add style and panache to events and weddings !
The Citroen Traction Avant arrived in 1934 and made history as the first successfully mass produced front wheel drive car . Boasting exceptional road holding, smooth torsion bar suspension, Michelin radial low pressure tires, flat floor, roomy interior, all steel construction and hydraulic brakes she is a delight to experience!
So successful was this car that production continued until 1957.
The Citroen Car Company has been owned by Michelin Tire Company since the 1930s.
It is available for events as a photographers model or display as well as for chauffeured service.
