Story
This very original unmodified historic, classic quintessential French Art Deco, romantic Traction Avant spent its early years as a photographers wedding car in Alsace and Belgium. It has lived in Phoenix, Arizona with me for the past several decades where it continues to add style and panache to events and weddings !
The Citroen Traction Avant arrived in 1934 and made history as the first successfully mass produced front wheel drive car . Boasting exceptional road holding, smooth torsion bar suspension, Michelin radial low pressure tires, flat floor, roomy interior, all steel construction and hydraulic brakes she is a delight to experience!
So successful was this car that production continued until 1957.
The Citroen Car Company has been owned by Michelin Tire Company since the 1930s.
It is available for events as a photographers model or display as well as for chauffeured service.

This car is just as beautiful in person. Mark was very gracious and a joy to work with. We took wedding pictures downtown, Mark was punctual and moved the car when our photographer wanted a different angle. We were very pleased and highly recommend this service! Thank you Mark!

I recently rented the 1956 Citroen Traction Avant 11BL from Mark for a photoshoot and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Mark was incredibly professional, accommodating, and helpful throughout the entire process before the rental and during the rental. The vehicle was in excellent condition and exactly what I needed for my shoot. Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect - he arrived on time, positioned the car where we needed it, and cleaned the car to ensure it looked flawless. The ‘56 Citroen Traction Avant was a total hit!! The car was gorgeous & Mark made it that much more special. The whole package made my daughter’s graduation surprise extra special. I would recommend this car, and Mark, for any event where you want to stand out in the crowd with vintage class.
