I am a Land Rover enthusiast, with this 1976 88” Series III, a 1983 110 and a 1995 Range Rover Classic.

This vehicle is used as a beach cruiser ONLY, with occasional trips to the store, gas station.

It was imported by a previous owner, reportedly from Namibia, where it spent its days on safari. 3 point inertia seatbelts for the driver and passenger have been added. It is not safe for highway use beyond 2 passengers. It should be rented with the expectation to be used as a golf cart would.

This 1976 is a RHD manual transmission, with electronic fuel injection (no carburetor), in-tank retrofit fuel pump, electronic distributor (no points/condenser) and new electronics. It reliably starts (every time) and should require no special treatment. Ability to drive a manual transmission is a prerequisite. Please do not try to learn on this 48 year old vehicle.

I acquired this vehicle specifically for enjoying the beach. It has no roof, or soft top. After finally getting it working and in good shape, I discovered that its best job is adding to someones joy and sense of adventure, if even just for a day.

The rental price is the lowest available to ensure appropriate liability and protection for the renter, and myself (the owner).

I am immediately available by text/phone if required. Rental by the day is accepted, cancellations for weather are accepted. It is available purely to enjoy.
