We rented this vehicle for our wedding getaway car, and it was everything we had hoped for! Stu was prompt and kind, and he honored our special requests for a route detour down Broadway (even on a BUSY Saturday night) as well as playing a special song as we drove away. The car is beautifully kept and everyone absolutely loved our pictures with it. Highly recommend!

Awesome car, great owner! Rented it for a day, now I want to buy one. Mark was a great owner, we chatted for a while about the car, it's history, why he bought it, the rarity of a four door (which is sad because it is much cooler than a two door to me), and how we both enjoyed driving it. It is a manual transmission with the shifter on the column, a first for me, it as a manual transmission diehard, it was a year to drive and very easy to get used to. I highly recommend Mark and his Ford!

Any fan of Porsche knows that the Cayman R is a rarity, even more so in this Peridot Metallic green exclusive to the R. After just one day with the car, I was beyond impressed with it. I feel like the 911 after the 997 has gotten too big & bloated of a coupe. This thing feels perfect in size, similar to my 996 Turbo. Obviously, this is a different experience as a mid-engine NA RWD car versus a rear-engine turbo AWD car.
As for the chassis itself, it is remarkably neutral despite not being exactly 50/50 weight distribution. This is down about 400 lbs from a 996 Turbo, and I could feel the extra agility as a result. Going through the twisties was effortless, and the car rotated exactly how I wanted it to. It was very predictable how the tires got loaded up and the weight shifted around. Unlike a 911, I feel like you'd have to try REALLY hard to upset the chassis and lose control. And while obviously this does not have 4 wheel steer, at times it sure felt like it with the way the rear of the car tracked my inputs from the front. It does have "only" 330HP, but the power delivery has a surprising grunt to it once you get up in the rev band and the howl that comes out of the R's pipes is absolutely intoxicating. Finally, special mention for the seat. Sweet baby Jesus, this is hands-down the BEST seat I've ever sat in. To the point I regret doing so as I want one now for my 996 Turbo. It kept me locked down the whole time no matter what I was doing, and yet it was unbelievably comfortable. I didn't know a race bucket seat could be this good.
I see now what the car journalists meant that the Cayman R is one of the best balanced Porsches ever made. It also fits the island with the gorgeous color and making mincemeat of the great driving roads while still maintaining enough compliance to the point of being a worthy daily-driver. If I lived on Maui, I would likely swap my 996 Turbo out with this. Fantastic car, highly recommend it for anyone to see what a modern Porsche SHOULD feel like.

Dan was just so accommodating , he truly made our sons get away from wedding reception an Epic event!! He arrived on time with car , let us decorate it and let us take such amazing pictures and then did a burnout and drove the couple to their hotel! I can’t say enough good things! This was the best experience ever!! Decided to rent a Chevelle from Joe and my family and I had an excellent experience with the whole process with the help of Joe. The Chevelle is in excellent condition and so much fun to cruise around in. Joe was accommodating, available and flexible. He was also was very thorough with instructions . I’ll definitely rent the Chevelle again!

I surprised my husband Ryan with Ginger on our wedding day and we couldn't have had a better experience! Daniel was so flexible with all of our wedding plan changes due to the covid outbreak. He picked us up from our backyard ceremony and we went for a ride up Old Mission Peninsula and to the old hospital grounds so our photographer could take pictures and Ginger was the perfect background/feature :) Our families loved the chance to check out such a classic car as well! We plan on having Ginger outside of our larger reception in the fall for our guests to enjoy. We highly recommend Daniel and Ginger! Thank you for being a part of our wedding day!

Alex's Chevelle was perfect! I surprised my husband with it for our wedding weekend and he loved it. Alex worked with me because I had to have a friend pick it up for me. We had one morning where it wouldn't start because it was too cold, but that was expected (my husbands '71 Chevelle did the same thing). Every night that we were able to store it in the garage it worked perfectly. Thank you so much, Alex, for making it memorable for us!

Nearly a day after returning the Truimph I rented from Sam, the owner, I'm still grinning. A friend and I ditched work for a day and toured the country roads around Woodstock, CT . The car was everything we were expecting and Sam was a delight to rent from. I had a few last minute scheduling conflicts to work around and he was totally accommodating. Sam's neck of CT has endless winding country roads with many places to stop to walk around or grab a bite to eat.

I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful Nick and his wife Nikki were to us! The way they welcomed us and the time they took to explain the particulars of the car, which you can feel they are proud of and very well cared for - the car was in perfect and safe condition as well which made our day all the better!
It was my boyfriend 60th birthday and he was absolutely surprised and thrilled about the whole experienced :-) Nick and Nikki are wonderful people and their 1966 Mustang convertible was sweet and sexy!!!!

What an amazing experience, rented David’s Morgan as a birthday gift for a friend turning 90. Picked her up from her house to drive her to her party, and it couldn’t have been a better experience.
She was waiting for me at her deck and you could see how her eyes illuminated when I arrived. She smiled and told me she felt as she was very young and was going on a date, she could relive all those nice feelings of being young again.
We Couldn’t stop smiling as we drove on PCH and people kept waving at us from their cars. When we arrived at the party there where smiles, laughter, tears it was such a beautiful mix of emotions.
THANK YOU DAVID for sharing your beloved car with us and helping us create new memories and relived some as well.

Small in size but huge on fun. The Abarth pops on up shift and overuns after every heal-n-toe. Please ensure to have the sun roof in the targa position for the maximium aural experience. Weighted steering and excellent pedal box make driving a pleasure. Short wheelbase and narrow trackwidth makes navigating Maui a breeze.
David, a fellow automotive enthusiast, provided excellent advise on how to operate the vehicle, as well as, the best locations to visit.
Overall a fun and memorable experience. Highly recommend both the Abarth and David and look forward to using his services on our next visit to Maui.

Doug is great to work with - very accommodating working through some difficult travel logistics. The 924S is super fun to drive - steering response and handling are great. The car gets alotta love. The car was clean and in good working order when Doug handed me the keys. Perhaps not quite as clean or as mechanically dialed in as I like to keep my own cars - but maybe I'm a little crazed on those fronts - and probably why I don't offer my own cars through DriveShare - but I am glad there are people like Doug that do! All in all it was great experience and I would definitely do it again. Thanks again Doug - and Hagerty for offering this service!

John was PHENOMENAL! The car was immaculate! The day was perfect!
It could not have gone better. From initial contact through follow ups and the actual event day, John was on top of checking the weather and contacting me for any possible plan changes as well as updating me on the route. At the end of the day - the weather was beautiful, the car was on time, the service was exemplary, and we received a lot of positive comments from the guests - some even took pictures by the car! A true gentleman, John made us feel that a handshake could have very well been our contract. You don't get that feeling much anymore in this day and age! The auto was lovely, the bride and groom enjoyed their ride and the attention they got while being driven around Palos Verdes and San Pedro - with people honking and waving and giving John a big thumbs up for the impressive car. Conversation with John was wonderful - warm and friendly. He made the getaway after the ceremony pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely call on him for any future events in which a car is needed. Truly a pleasure to do business with - though it felt more like a friend we had known for years!

I cannot say enough about this experience. The car was absolutely perfect for our wedding day. Jerry went above and beyond to create such a unique experience. He felt like familia, and as far as I am concerned he is apart of my soul family. The car was clean, AC was working wonderfully, (very important for the makeup on a hot day) drive was smooth. Oh and my kids loved the ride too! Very happy with how well it was maintained. Spotless for a white dress to sit in. I would recommend this experience for any special event.
