Kona The Bus is a fully restored 1967 Volkswagen 21-Window Deluxe Samba — an authentic German-built icon and one of the most beloved vintage buses ever made. The bus's ground-up restoration was a true labor of love, with every single detail brought back to life — from custom PPG paint to polished trim and a stunning vintage-correct interior.

Kona became a bit of a star during the process, with her entire journey documented on our YouTube channel - 'MicBergsma'. The series gained a worldwide following and brought on amazing sponsors like PPG Paint, Eastwood Co., RetroSound, and West Coast Classic Interiors — just to name a few.

Now living her best island life on Maui, Kona is available as a photo prop rental only (not for driving). Whether it’s a wedding, engagement, brand shoot, or just something magical for your Maui memories, Kona adds nostalgic charm, good vibes, and a whole lot of aloha to every scene.
