This is a pretty heavily customized 1978 Toyota Cressida Sedan. Built in Kaido Racer (bosozoku) style with all the period correct gadgets and gizmos, this car turns some heads when it enters any parking area.
The original straight axle suspension was swapped out with the independent rear suspension from a later model Cressida and the car currently sits on coilover suspension all around about an inch off the floor.
It is powered by it’s original inline 6-cylinder engine and is shifted via manual transmission.
This car is exactly what an enthusiast from the mid 1980s would have driven in Japan.
