1989 Land Rover Defender 110

This 1989 Land Rover 110 is a left-hand-drive example that was imported from Italy to the US in November 2015. Subsequent work involved repainting the body in green over replacement black upholstery, and the truck is powered by a replacement 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes LED lighting, alpine windows, a pop-up sunroof, side steps, a tubular rear bumper, a receiver hitch, air conditioning, an Alcantara headliner, and a CD stereo linked to an FU Audio sound system. The truck was refinished in Grasmere Green and features a white roof with alpine windows. Additional exterior details include checker-plated front fender trim, a Puma-style hood, a body-color grille, LED lighting, a pop-up sunroof, side steps, a tubular rear bumper, a receiver hitch, and Gullwing-style cargo area windows. Body-color 16″ steel wheels are wrapped in 285/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires that show 2016 date codes, and a matching spare is mounted to a swing-away rear carrier. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The interior was refreshed with replacement black vinyl front bucket seats, a rear bench, and a color-coordinated center console. An Alcantara headliner was also installed, and inward-facing jump seats were added to the rear cargo area. Additional amenities include air conditioning, LED interior lighting, Land-Rover branded rubber floor mats, and a GPS-enable headunit with a back-up camera. The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel frames instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for voltage, water temperature, and fuel level, while a tachometer sits atop the center stack. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 2,800 miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
