Meet "Jitterbug"
Every great Porsche has a story. This one just happens to dance.
“Jitterbug” is my wife Lisa’s alter ego—the one that shows up when the music starts and the dance floor fills. So when I found this rare green 2010 Porsche 911 Cabriolet, there was never any question what its name would be.
Green 911s have always held a special place in Porsche history. In fact, Ferry Porsche favored green cars throughout his life, and Irish Green became one of the marque’s most iconic colors—a tradition that still resonates with enthusiasts today. Seeing a green 911 is uncommon. Owning one is even more special.
Jitterbug was a surprise birthday present. I picked her up while Lisa was out of town visiting her sister and quietly tucked her into the garage… in the exact spot where I normally keep my own 911 under its car cover.
For an entire week, Jitterbug hid in plain sight. Lisa walked right past that covered car dozens of times without the slightest suspicion.
On her birthday morning, my two sons and I placed a giant gold bow on top of the car cover and walked her into the garage. The second she saw that bow, she knew she’d been completely had.
The cover came off, the smile was priceless, and Jitterbug officially found her forever dance partner.
We hope you’ll enjoy adding a few chapters to her story.
