Packard was one of the finest luxury cars of the 1930s, and 1937 is considered by many to be the best year for Packard because they introduced independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes while still keeping their traditional styling. This 37 Packard is a Super 8, and the Straight-8 engine is so quiet that when you come to a stop sign, you may think that the engine has stalled. It hasn't--it's just that smooth. I've owned this car for 23 years and it's in original, unmodified condition.
