This 1954 Chevrolet Del Ray Club Coupe hasn't been hot rodded or modified, but represents the conservatively beautiful styling and luxury that was available and attainable to most people at the time! The beautiful exterior is in its orginal colors of an India Ivory top over a Surf Green body. The toothy chrome grille was a nod to the Corvette, which had just made its debut in 1953. Beautiful trim work throughout includes the Jet Age eagle hood ornament, Chevrolet badging including Fleur De Lis imagery, and Powerglide script on the trunk (after all, you showed off if you had an automatic transmission in 1954! Chevy was the first to introduce it in the 'low-priced' field).
Inside, beautiful quilted leather simulated vinyl seats in green and white, complement the Bermuda Green dashboard, complete with chrome accents and a "Power Steering' (another first) badge on the horn ring. Wide radial/bias ply simulated white walls and front seat belts allow for greater safety.
The car is ideal for photo/film shoots as it's of a period, or for enhancing your next special event. Conveniently located in the beautiful Coachella Valley, Ca.
