We're thrilled for you to experience the pure, analog joy of driving a true vintage sports car. Below are important details to ensure your drive goes smoothly: PLEASE NOTE: At all times, you’ll be guided by a pilot car through the picturesque Amador Wine Region, exploring the best backroads and local attractions. Your first trip will be 2 hours (or less) on easy roads in the rolling foothills. We have dozens of predefined routes to choose from, for your subsequent trips with us. Your pilot car will ensure your safety by maintaining safe driving speeds and observing all posted speed limits.. You are not allowed to take the car out without a pilot car as your guide. This also helps in the ensure you cannot get lost in an unfamiliar area. We’ll provide you with a 2-way radio so you’re always able to communicate with the Pilot car, just in case you have any issues or would like to make an unscheduled stop. Should you have any specific needs or clarifications, we’re here to make sure your adventure is seamless and unforgettable. Departure Time: All trips will be scheduled to depart in the late afternoon, or early morning, depending on time of year. It gets hot outside from June to August, and these cars do not have air conditioning. For your comfort, we recommend scheduling your drive when it’s cooler outside. Parking: You’re welcome to leave your personal vehicle safely parked at our clubhouse while you enjoy your adventure. Note that there is a 1 mile unpaved road to access our clubhouse where the cars are stored. Test Drive: To ensure you're fully comfortable and confident, we’ll take you on a brief test drive to familiarize you with the controls and handling of the car. Once you’re ready, the wheel is yours, and you can fully immerse yourself in the driving experience. All drivers must demonstrate the ability to use a manual transmission. Guests: Once you’ve been cleared to drive, you’re welcome to have a guest join you while you’re at the controls.
