Long, Low, Wide, and high powered.
The Galaxie was the top-of-the-line Ford from 1958-1974.
The 1960 Galaxie was thoroughly restyled from the 1959, looking less like a 50s aircraft inspired car and more like a 1960s space age car. There was a focus on improving aerodynamics that led to a sloping hood and handsome new grille that incorporated quad headlamps. Elliptical taillamps replaced Ford signature round lenses, and the old wraparound windshield was swapped for one that offered 30 percent more visibility. Although they shared the same basic design and layout as their predecessors, the new Fords were longer, lower, wider and roughly 300 pounds heavier.
This car has the big-block, Thunderbird, 352 cid V8 engine
This is essentially a one-year car since the model was completely redesigned in 1961.
The car has a completely re-done authentic interior and is painted in the original Adriatic Green (very light green) color. The car is completely stock as it appeared new from the factory.
Note: Because this car is low to the ground, it may not be suitable for use as a wedding vehicle. It might be difficult to get in/out with a bridal gown.
