Vehicle story

1961 Ford F-100 4x4 pickup truck. This was the Brush Fire unit for a fire department in Vermont for many years. Since 2017 I have owned it and used it regularly in the summer only. It has lived a bit of a hard life but I take good care of it and it certainly has a unique character, as it's never been restored. The seat was replaced in 2024 but the rest of the truck is basically as it was for the fire department all those years. It runs great and will go anywhere. It looks amazing in photos with its bright color, and provides a great complement to well-dressed, or casually dressed, people at any event. It always turns heads and makes people smile.

4-speed manual transmission, 4WD HI/LO range. Engine is the original 292c.i. Ford V8.
