1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 454 – Fathom Blue Big-Block Restomod
Business in the front, party in the back. The original hybrid.
This 1970 El Camino SS is one of the most striking examples of American muscle meets design, and it was truly ahead of its time. Half muscle car, half pickup, all attitude. It's finished in classic Fathom Blue with white cowl-induction hood stripes, pinned hood, and a full run of polished chrome, and it turns heads on every block.
Under that cowl induction hood is a new Chevy LS-6 454 big-block with only about 4,000 miles on it (swapped from original 350). It has the rumble you want and the reliability you need. Fair warning: it gets terrible mileage, but wonderful smileage :-)
Inside, you'll find a clean black bench seat, a wood-rimmed SS steering wheel, a column-shift automatic, and a full gauge cluster with a tachometer. Plus, brand new A/C to keep you cool! That makes it easy to drive and hard to stop grinning. Out back, a tonneau-covered bed keeps the lines clean. It rolls on polished American Racing five-spoke wheels wrapped in raised white-letter tires. Custom "THEROAD" Louisiana plate.
It's perfect for photo shoots, weddings, music videos, a cruise down to the river, or just living out your 1970 dream for a day. Based in New Orleans, it looks right at home in front of a St. Charles mansion, or a Bywater mural.
Mull it. Then book it. THE ROAD awaits!
