1970 Ford Mustang

Well she's a 52 yr old machine, so she shows a bit of patina here and there, the radio doesn't work, and the top leaks in heavy rainfall ...but just look at her. And when you drive her around, look at all the heads turn looking at her. And listen to her. She was upgraded from her original 302 carbureted V8 to the even more visceral version straight from the BOSS 302 Mustang of the era. She rumbles a deep baritone and hums like a sowing machine. The medium metallic blue, though flawed is still stunning and eye catching and the white top and interior compliment it perfectly. 1970 was considered the last year of the 1st generation Mustang and you'll find it to be much more quick and nimble than the earlier convertible Mustangs. Its styling is distinctly Mustang, but the 1970 was a one year only body style, and stands out as unique amongst vintage Mustangs. She's dripping with character and ready to be enjoyed. This car is perfect for any special event, wedding, or simply cruising through historic New Orleans and down the lake front.

There is no AC yet, ...but that also defeats the main point of a convertible. This vehicle undergoes all routine maintenance and has been upgraded to more powerful and modern disc brakes at the front. Keep in mind that as a rule, cars before the 1980's do not have anti-lock brakes. The engine is of the era, but was a brand new from the crate in 2005 and only has approximately 20K miles on it. The car runs fantastically and retains all the original character and more.

⭐️ The gas gauge is not accurate once it reaches the 1/4 full mark
⭐️ Gas cap/fuel door is a round Mustang logo between the tail lights
⭐️ The brakes have been upgraded, but as per the time period of the vehicle, there is no Antilock Braking System. Please FOLLOW other vehicles WITH TWICE THE SPACING AS NORMAL.
⭐️ Store vehicle out of severe weather and off of the street over night
⭐️ Apple air tag is hidden in vehicle in case of emergency
⭐️ The square key is for ignition, the square key with tape is for the door, the round key os for the trunk
⭐️ Lightly tap throttle once (possibly twice) when the engine is cold if it is slow to start
⭐️ Overdrive (automatic 4th gear) shows in the Neutral position of the shifter. Tap the shifter up towards Neutral from Drive for normal or highway use
⭐️ Top function: PUSH the button on the center of the dash to put the top DOWN, and PULL the button towards you for the top UP
⭐️ Horn buttons are on the far left and right of the steering wheel spoke
⭐️ Front seat levers for back seat access: push chrome lever up for driver side, and down on the passenger side seat
