1972 Chevrolet Nova Super Sport - very rare "Skyroof" car.
In late 1972 and early 1973, Chevrolet produced a few thousand Novas with a factory offered "Skyroof" option - a sliding vinyl sunroof that measures roughly 3' x 3'.
Of those produced, only a couple hundred were also factory Super Sports. This Nova is one of those.
This body style Nova was produced between 1968 - 1972, and could be used for any event representing that period. Only the most descerning of Nova enthusiast would be able to tell the differences between those years.
Originally sold with a 350 cubic inch engine, the car now sports a 427 cubic inch engine - and sounds incredible.
I have owned the car for 15+ years and will lend it out for use in events, entertainment, and promotional activities. The car is not available for general rental. The car is not for sale.
The car is now equipped with period correct black California license plates, from the late 1960s (although not pictured). Blue California plates (early 1970s) are also available (although not pictured).
The car continues to undergo small internal tweaks, but the appearance is that of a stock Nova from 1972. As of writing (March 2022) I am replacing the existing Skyroof assembly with a complete new-original-stock GM Skyroof assembly.
427 Cubic Inch General Motors engine, bored over .060. Demon carburetor. DEEP exhaust note and a perfect sounding example of a proper Chevrolet big block!
GM Turbo 400 build by B&M. 3500 stall converter.
Depending on the day(s) needed, I may be able to deliver the car to you. If I can not, delivery to your event or location site will be covered by you. This car is not for general daily rental. This car is for events and promotional activities only.
