THIS….is a 1974 BMW 2002. I call it “the grapefruit” as it has a very unassuming exterior with noticeable paint defects. Whoever painted it clearly didn’t use much care.

BUT…slice a grapefruit open and the pink innards are a pleasant surprise. This car has a fresh fuel injected M10 engine that dyno’d at 95 whp (120 crank or so). The interior is fresh with a cool funky pattern. The heater box works (as well as it can). The crank sunroof even works. This car is as good of a daily driver 2002 as you’ll ever find.

Engine

1.8L fuel injected M10 from a 1984 BMW 318. The engine has been tuned with an aftermarket ECU and dyno’d at 120 crank hp. The car scoots!
