1975 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega

This is number 0490 of only 3,508 made by Chevrolet with Cosworth Engineering out of England. for the 1975 & 1976 model year. This is the first Chevrolet with Electronic fuel injections, and was advertised as twice as expensive as a regular Vega. The only more expensive Chevrolet in 1975 was a Corvette at $7,800. (this Cosworth Vega listed for $7,100). They were all Black with gold stripes and gold British racing wheels for 1975. This one has black perforated vinyl interior. They were touted by the press back in 1975 as being a great Rally car and could perform with the likes of the BMW 2002. This Car was a west coast car and was restored back in 2010.
