You don't see these often! Only sold in Japan in 2001, these are exceedingly rare in the United States. Probably the cutest car ever made, this will liven up your visit to Traverse City, makes a great photo car for your wedding, or just makes a drive in the country more memorable.
The car is really comfortable and easy to drive, its 1 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder easily keeps up with traffic and the automatic transmission means anyone can drive it. It is right-hand-drive, but one gets used to that quickly.
The center section of the top opens for some open-air fun. The A/c also blows ice cold if you’ve had a bit too much retro for one day The back seats can accommodate a child up to about 10 years old, but not much more than that. The radio doesn't work (Japanese frequencies and home-market CDs only). The speedometer reads only in Metric, so a bit of math is required to ascertain your speed, but that's just part of the fun. Otherwise, I've never driven a car that stops traffic and gets attention the way this one does.
The car is available anytime roads are salt-free (likely April through October).
The car is located near downtown Traverse City. You can pick it up at my house and there is room to leave your other vehicle if needed. Delivery or pickup at the TVC airport is also available.
