I grew up traveling in South America from a young age. My dad especially always found a way to veer off the beaten tourist path. Single lane, dirt roads through mountain passes were not uncommon. Nor were dirt roads to small towns that would turn to thick mud at the first sign of rain. A reliable, sturdy vehicle was a must. I spent time with Land Cruisers and Land Rovers, and probably some Mitsubishis as well — but the Defender always caught my attention. Finally as an adult in my mid 30s I realized I had the time and resources to invest into my ownership dream. After a dream connect I purchased Lil Loowit.

And then a month later I met my husband… and the resource of time quickly dwindled. Not that I’m complaining! But she does sit more than she should. So here I am, trusting a platform with my prized possession.
