Life long lovers of Classic Cars! My husband, Cary, has owned and built several cars. Everything from VW's to Model A s. He started with a hand me down car from his Mom and it began! He built, tore down and built again!! Even took up doing his own painting.
My first car was a 1960 Cadillac, Coupe De Ville. I was a "Low Rider" and thought this big, long and low car was the "Cat's Meow" !
Of course, we both had many more cars throughout our lives that we have kicked ourselves for selling! My favorite was my '57 Chevy 210. I had it custom painted and had artwork put on the doors to advertise my little restaurant, Chevy's Diner. Everyone in town knew that car. It was great advertisement!
Today we belong to a Classic Car Enthusiast Club, The Drifters, and participate in many local car shows and Cruises. We love taking this T-Bird out for a Cruise. We call her,
"Bluebird", and she turns heads everywhere we go!
She has won Trophies and Awards at some big car shows and also been used for filming and photographing for Advertisements. Bluebird also has been used to replicate the car in the movie, "Thelma & Louise".
