My father bought this new car in November of 1968 at a Plymouth dealership in Long Beach, Ca. I learned how to drive with it and went to the prom in it. The car was run down when I purchased it from my dad and sat in my garage for 25 years. In 2016, I decided to restore the car. It took me 1 year to take it apart, It was at the body and paint shop for 18 months. When I got it back, it took another 6 months to put it back together. It was officially finished in September 2019. On the 50th anniversary of the cars purchase, I won the Best Muscle Car award at my first car show. Since then, I have had several more awards. It was also featured in a Tate McRae music video, "What Would You Do?". (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXl0zgUhsAU) I have a website about the work I did on the car at www.BarracudaRestoration.com. Also I have several how-to-restoration videos on YouTube. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vzTQQWbN9w)
