This '66 Mustang Convertible has been owned throughout the years by three military members, the most current, myself, a member of the U.S. Air Force. It had a frame-off, rotisserie restoration about 15 years ago, but was put in storage for 10 of those years, while the owner was oversees. When I purchased the car from a retired Army sergeant in Bowling Green, Kentucky, it was one of the happiest days of my life. I was simply stunned by the quality of the car. It had been babied for decades by the prior owner. But as all car guys know, there's always room for improvement. The car looked immaculate, but needed a little work to bring it up to modern reliability, safety and comfort standards, which included disk brakes, brand new suspension, fuel injection, and a new cooling system. Needless to say, the car is now top shelf! It's a real head turner just about anywhere it rumbles through and a great addition to your special event.
